HiQ RECEIVES NEW COMMISSION FROM LEADING GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURER
HiQ has recently received an order from a leading automotive manufacturer with a global presence. The order involves the delivery of new production test systems for quality assurance of engines for the U.S. market. The order is valued at over three hundred and fifty thousand euros.
“We are very proud of the continued confidence our customer has shown in us for delivering these types of production test systems. We have previously delivered similar systems designed for the customer's operations in Asia and South America, so I view this new commission as proof that we have done well,” says Anders Nilsson, Managing Director of HiQ Mälardalen.
The new order is a step in standardising the production testing of engines with the ultimate goal that all the vehicle manufacturer's group subsidiaries will eventually test engines in production in the same way.
In the new system, the test software senses which type of engine is to be tested and then automatically performs the entire test cycle. The system manages and controls all external systems needed to conduct engine tests. When the test is completed, the test results and the required readings are sent to a central database that is then used in global testing operations.
