HiQ SIGNS FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH SMHI

HiQ has signed a framework agreement with the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) in all four of the areas put out to tender. The agreement will be in effect for two years with an option to extend for two more years.

The framework agreement with SMHI covers the areas Management & Governance, Business Development & Strategy, System Development & Administration and Usability & Service Design.

“SMHI is a very exciting client to work with and we are delighted that we were chosen in the procurement process to be the supplier in all four areas put out to tender. HiQ Ace operates in the technology-intense region of Östergötland and is expanding significantly. SMHI is one of many new clients in 2011 so we are now looking for additional talented individuals to recruit,” says Patrik Holm, Managing Director of HiQ Ace.

SMHI is an agency specialising in weather, water and the climate. The agency uses supercomputers, calculation models, statistics and research to produce forecasts, data to facilitate decision making, climate scenarios and investigations. SMHI also offers products and services to both private and public sector customers.
