HiQ WINS FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT WITH RESEARCH CENTER ESS
HiQ signs a framework agreement with ESS – a European research center currently being built in Lund in southern Sweden. The agreement covers software development of the control systems aimed to ensure the functionality in the facility.
The framework agreement is signed for two years with a possibility to extend for an additional three.
“We’re happy and proud to be one of the winning players in this tendering process. ESS needs specialists and we look forward to exciting assignments for HiQ. It’s also fun to have the opportunity to contribute to world leading particle research locally here in Skåne,” says Anna Kleine, Managing Director at HiQ in Skåne.
ESS is short for the European Spallation Source, and the research center will be used within a number of different fields. The facility is based on the world’s most powerful neutron source and it will enable new opportunities for researchers within e.g. life sciences, environmental technology, physics, and energy.

For that control, IT and smooth digital solutions are necessary, an area in which HiQ is an expert,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ.
ESS is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today. The facility will have the highest possible capacity and quality.
