HiQ signs a framework agreement regarding consultancy services with the Stockholm County Council. The agreement gives HiQ an important platform to continue contributing in the work to simplify and improve Swedish healthcare.

“Today, the number of doctor’s appointments in Sweden each year is 15 million. With a growing and aging population, the number is expected to increase to 22 million by 2030. To tackle this, healthcare needs to be dramatically streamlined – a task in which digital development is a key. We have the driving force, experience, and know-how to make it happen,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ.

The framework agreement is signed for 18 months with an option to extend for 18 more. The areas included are Inquiry & Analysis, Systems development & Systems integration, Implementation & Liquidation, and Security. In addition to SLL, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR), Inera, and Region Gotland can also use HiQ as a supplier within the agreement.

“HiQ has grown strongly in the public sector and within healthcare. We have many specialists working every day to develop the healthcare domain, with technology as a tool for enabling dialogue, influence, and accessibility. We look forward to continue contributing through the new agreement, and simplify for both patients and healthcare providers,” says Peter Lager at HiQ.

The Swedish Government and SALAR have set a goal that Sweden is to be number one in the world regarding eHealth by 2025. An inspiring vision in which HiQ looks forward to being an important player. Today, HiQ for example works with the service Healthcare in Numbers and the Finnish eHealth solution DiacorPlus.

“As society is digitalised, our everyday lives are becoming simpler. We can take care of almost everything with our mobiles, where and when we want to. A behaviour and expectations that are naturally affecting within healthcare as well. With a drive to simplify for people, we are proud of this framework agreement and we look forward to contribute to Stockholm’s digital development in a more distinct way,” Lars Stugemo concludes.
