PRESTIGIOUS AWARD TO THE HiQ DESIGN TEAM

The HiQ design team from Great Apes in Helsinki, won the design category at Grafia’s Best of the Year (Vuoden Huiput) – Finland’s most significant creative design competition.

“We’re very proud to win gold for design at this year’s Vuoden Huiput. It’s a welcome recognition for the work we do in creating unique and innovative user experiences and interfaces on all kinds of digital platforms”, said Niko Sipilä, Creative Director at Great Apes.

Great Apes won the design category for the interface work in the game Quantum Break. They are known for their innovative skills and that they're not afraid to challenge existing ways of doing things.

Great Apes is also one of the most internationally awarded digital agencies in Finland, with repeated recognition from industry-leading competitions such as The Webby Awards, Red Dot Design Awards, and Eurobest. Some of their clients are Linnanmäki, Microsoft, Lidl, Amer Sports, Royal Ravintolat, Kalevala Koru, the Finnish Defence Forces, and Veikkaus.

Vuoden Huiput was founded by designers themselves in 1980. The annual event aims to raise the quality of design, strengthen creativity and originality and to promote designers' expertise. The competition is organized for the 37th time this year.
