Kaluma Ski introduces bespoke special offers

Luxury ski specialist Kaluma has introduced a choice of bespoke special offers for guests holidaying in Courchevel 1850 or St Anton, staying in one of the Kaluma run chalets.

Guests booking the exclusive use of the Chalet Maisonnee A or Chalet Maisonnee B in Courchevel 1850 and Chalet Montfort in St Anton, until the end of January 2012, can choose from:

  • free ski passes for all
  • free flights from their preferred airport or
  • a week’s ski instructor or off-piste guide*

Andy Butterworth of Kaluma says, ‘At Kaluma we recognise that a luxury holiday is not merely offering a 5* property but is an experience that extends to all levels of service. This is something we offer from the start and give our clients their own choice of bespoke special offers.’

Sample Prices:  includes half board and the Kaluma Concierge Service. Flights and private transfers are additional and can be chosen as one of the bespoke special offers as above.

Chalet Maisonnee A – from £1223 per person based on sole occupancy of chalet for up to 12 people

Chalet Maisonnee B – from £1384 per person based on sole occupancy of chalet for up to 8 people

Chalet Montfort – from £1359.50 per person based on sole occupancy of chalet for up to 20 people

Courchevel 1850 continues to appeal to the high-end sector of the ski market and the resort has seen a number of developments for the 2011-12 season:

Courchevel property news:

  • 5* Hotel Grandes Alpes – newly refurbished and opening with a new concept in December 2011. Grandes Alpes will consist of 9 exceptional private apartments with 5 star hotel service – each with butler, chef and housekeeper. 
  • 5* Hotel Chabichou –  one of the most recognisable hotels in Courchevel will benefit from a superb new spa, ‘So Quartz’. Opening in December 2011 with several innovative features, including a sensory and tactile tropical rain trail and an 'Alpine bath' bio sauna. 
  • K2 hotel and private chalets – from the designers of the 5* Hotel Kilimandjaro,  have created a deluxe hotel and chalet complex with 29 stunning rooms and 5 private chalets, offering discreet luxury at the highest level.

Courchevel skier news:

  • The new Saulire Express lift for Meribel, which will part open in 2011 and be completed in 2012, will arrive at the same point as the Courchevel Saulire cable car, improving access between the two resorts.
  • The famous Plantrey quad chair, Courchevel’s first quad, has been upgraded to an 6-seater chairlift
  • La Casserole mountain restaurant in 1650 has been bought by Eric Tournier, who heads several restaurants and hotels in Courchevel.  Rumoured to be made into a new open fire placed restaurant / apres ski hotspot - will it be another Folie Douce? Watch this space!

St Anton property news:

  • TheMOOSER, a mountain design hotel with ski in/ski out convenience will open on 3rd December, from the owners of the MooserWirt après ski bar. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this stylish and contemporary hotel is sure to top St Anton’s list as the place to stay this season with 8 double rooms, 7 suites and 2 junior suites.
  • As far as locations go you can’t get much better than St Anton’s other new hotel, the M3, offered by Kaluma Ski.
