    Humana implements changes to Group executive management

    Humana continues to implement the earlier communicated Sweden organisation to increase the organisation's efficiency, which leads to changes in the Group executive management.The Swedish organisation is led by Sweden Manager Nathalie Boulas Nilsson, who is also President and CEO of Humana Group. The Swedish organisation will be represented in Group executive management also by the business area managers for Individual and family as well as Personal Assistance, respectively.   This means that, Titti Lilja, Business Area Manager Individual and Family, will be a member of Group executive

    Humana Finland’s divestment of elderly care units expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025

    On May 23, 2024, Humana announced that Humana Finland had entered into an agreement to divest 21 elderly care units to Mehiläinen Oy. The transaction is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025.The transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition Authorities. The Competition Authority is conducting an extended review, which means that the timetable for expected completion of the transaction is adjusted to the first quarter of 2025.     The Government takes into account the conditions for operating personal assistance in the budget proposal

    In its budget proposal, the government intends to increase the standard compensation for personal assistance by 3.0 per cent for 2025. An inquiry into an indexation of the compensation will be carried out with intent to implement within a few years, which would mean that the compensation would be increased automatically every year.     Humana appoints Christoffer Herou as new CFO

    Humana AB has appointed Christoffer Herou in the role as CFO. He will assume the position on September 2, 2024. Christoffer Herou most recently served in the role as Group CFO at C-RAD AB.Christoffer Herou has many years of experience in the social care market, including the position as Group CFO at Frösunda, and leading positions at Norlandia Health Care Group.  -I am glad to be able to welcome Christoffer to us at Humana.     Humana is strengthening its focus on Sweden, Norway and Finland by entering into an agreement to divest its Danish operations to NPF-Specialisterna Öppenvård i Norden ABThe divested operations include individual and family care, primarily in the Copenhagen region and Jutland.     Humana Assistans AB (”Humana Assistans”) takes next step in the damage claim process due to the incorrect decision by the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (”IVO”) to revoke Humana Assistans’ permit

    Humana Assistans has today submitted a request for damage claim at the District Court of Stockholm, as the next step in the process of to have the right for compensation examined for for parts of the economic damages that Humana Assistans suffered due to the incorrect decision by IVO on January 31st, 2023, to revoke Humana Assistans’ permit. In the request for damage claim Humana Assistans plead that the government should reimburse Humana Assistans with SEK 225.5 million for client losses and SEK 14m for legal expenses connected with the process in the Administrative Court.     Today, May 27, 2024, Humana Assistans has submitted a request for damage claim to the Chancellor of Justice to have the right to compensation examined for parts of the financial damage suffered by Humana Assistans due to IVO's erroneous decision on January 31, 2023, to revoke Humana Assistans' permit.On 31 January 2023, IVO decided to revoke the permit for Humana Assistans.
