Humana acquires Balans Behandling
Humana acquires the individual and family company Balans Behandling AB. The acquisition strengthens Humana as a provider of high-quality care for children and young people with special needs in northern Sweden.
Humana has previously, during the second quarter of 2021, entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in Balans Behandling AB. The transfer of the business has now been completed and the business is thus included, from 1 October, in Humana's business area Individual and Family.
Balans Behandling was founded in 2014 with a strong position within healthcare and care in northern Sweden. The company is based in Luleå. The operations consist of enforced family home care services, outpatient care with supported housing services and a care home for girls. Full-year revenues amount to approximately SEK 60 million and the company has approximately 20 employees.
