Humana Finland’s divestment of elderly care units expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025
On May 23, 2024, Humana announced that Humana Finland had entered into an agreement to divest 21 elderly care units to Mehiläinen Oy. The transaction is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2025.
The transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition Authorities. The Competition Authority is conducting an extended review, which means that the timetable for expected completion of the transaction is adjusted to the first quarter of 2025.
The total purchase price amounts, as previously communicated, to EUR 25 million.
