Johanna Rastad appointed President and CEO of Humana
The Board of Humana has appointed Johanna Rastad as the new President and CEO of Humana AB. Johanna Rastad is currently business area manager of Individual & Family and a member of Humana's Group Management for almost three years. She will take office during the first quarter of 2022 when the outgoing President and CEO Rasmus Nerman leaves the company.
Johanna Rastad has worked at Humana since 2018, when she assumed the role of business development manager. Since 2019, she is business area manager of Individual & Family. Prior to joining Humana, Johanna has several years of operational experience in leading positions in the health and care industry, including at Team Olivia and Kry. Johanna Rastad has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
- I am pleased to be able to present Johanna Rastad as the new President and CEO. Johanna has the combined experience and competence required to develop Humana further from the strong platform that the company already stands on. With Johanna, Humana gets a leader who has the ability to implement our strategies and develop Humana's care operations to the next level in our mission to contribute to sustainable welfare in the Nordic region, says Sören Mellstig, Chairman of the Board of Humana.
- It is especially gratifying and positive that we have been able to recruit Johanna Rastad internally. As a member of the management team, Johanna already has a deep insight into Humana, not only in her own business area, where she has improved the operation during her time, and the Norway business area, which she has previously successfully supported, but also into the Group's other business areas and support functions, says Sören Mellstig.
- I feel grateful and humbled to have been given the confidence to lead a company like Humana. Humana is a company with a uniquely strong employee commitment, which is not only about helping people, our customers and clients, to a better life, but also about a desire to develop and improve the care systems in the Nordic region in the long term. I look forward to taking over the responsibility and together with all colleagues continue the development of the company and our operations, says Johanna Rastad, incoming President and CEO.
Until the day of taking office, Johanna Rastad will continue in her current position as business area manager of Individual & Family. She will also prepare herself for her new role.
