Third-party cyber attack
Humana AB (”Humana”) has, via internal security systems, discovered an illegal data intrusion by a third party into the company's file archive.
An investigation confirms that, so far, a limited amount of Humana’s property has been stolen during the encroachment. The information includes personal data. An investigation into the extent of the data theft is ongoing.
Based on available information, Humana can conclude that there is no risk of major disruptions in daily operations.
As soon as the intrusion was discovered, Humana immediately initiated measures to prevent further external access to its data at the same time as the company reported the incident to the police and private protection authority (IMY).
Humana investigates the extent of the data theft internally and in collaboration with third-party specialists.
