- Hyundai sells 3.18 million units worldwide through third quarter - Sales revenue stands at 61.75 trillion won, net profit at 7.16 trillion wonOct. 25, 2012 - Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea’s largest automaker, sold 3,183,516 units (domestic: 481,403 / overseas: 2,702,113) worldwide in the first nine months of the year, up 7.9 percent compared to the same period last year. Net profit increased 17.4 percent to 7.16 trillion won since the end of September from a year earlier, while operating profit rose 14.8 percent to 9.07 trillion won.
