The 24–27th March 2019, International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) is arranging its 25th Advanced Materials Congress. The Silver Jubilee Assembly onboard Viking Line’s M/S Mariella, that departs from Stockholm, Sweden. During the congress 500–700 scientists and business executives from over 75 countries will participate and several research breakthroughs for example in future batteries for electrical vehicles, healthcare nanotechnology and functional advancements in materials research and innovations will be presented.

Last December Ashutosh Tiwari, founder of IAAM, hosted the latest congress, where distinguished researchers from all over the world gathered on a three-day-cruise in the Baltic Sea. Now the bar is being raised even higher. During The Silver Jubilee Assembly, several thematic conferences will be held during one cruise.
– We are now expanding our congress series in advanced materials to include spectroscopy and electrochemistry. This is a step in our aim to get people from different fields of research closer together, making it possible to achieve great things and creating a better world for everyone, says Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari, founder of IAAM.

During the three-day-cruise breakthrough research in different fields such as future batteries for electrical vehicles, healthcare nanotechnology and functional advancements in materials research and innovations will be presented. Several product launches will also take place in areas such as wearable IOT´s, microbatteries and nano-water filters.

The congress series is hosted by The International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM, a non-profit organization that aims to create forums for education and spreading of research within the rapidly expanding fields around advanced materials.

Since the start in 2011, over 12000 people from 100+ countries have participated on IAAM’s worldwide congresses and about 5,000+ have delivered keynote and invited lectures. Since 2015, IAAM congresses hosted in Sweden, have had 3 500 people participating and 2 500 have lectured.

Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari is the man behind all this. Tiwari has a PhD in materials chemistry from the University of Allahabad, India and has received the prestigious Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the EU financed Marie Curie Scholarships. He has conducted research at several universities in Europe, USA and Asia. Now his main focus is to develop global networks in research and education by bringing different fields of research together to learn and benefit from each other.

Ashutosh Tiwari has been published over 200 scientific articles and has authored/edited 50+ books within the fields on nanotechnology and advanced materials. He is also the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal, Advanced Materials Letters.
