The 24–27th March 2019, International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) held its 25th Advanced Materials Congress onboard Viking Line’s M/S Mariella, that departed from Stockholm heading for Helsinki. During the congress 300 well-known scientists and business executives from 50 countries participated.

–The purpose of the congress was to bring academia and business closer together in order to build joint infrastructures for grants applications, commercial IPRs, high-quality publications and more. With our congress series we provide a global platform for all this to happen, says Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari, founder of IAAM.

The silver jubilee assembly of IAAM Congress offered a coordination of three contemporary research fields: Advanced Functional Materials, Spectroscopy and Electrochemistry to pave the way towards multi-inter-trans-disciplinary translational research and innovations for the market.

The congress series is hosted by The International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM, a non-profit organization that aims to create forums for education and spreading of research within the rapidly expanding fields around advanced materials.

Prestigious awards for pioneer research in advanced materials were also handed out during the congress. Prof.M. Ricardo Ibarra, affiliated with University of Zaragoza, Spain and scientific advisor at NanoScale Biomagnetics, Nanoimmunotech and Graphene Nanotech received the Advanced Functional Materials Award for his contributions within advanced functionals materials and innovations. Others who received awards were:
