The Renesas RL78 microcontrollers are advanced 16-bit MCUs that combine low power consumption and high performance. They are designed specifically for ultra-low-power applications, such as patient monitors, toothbrushes, smoke detectors, home appliances, industrial gauges, battery-operated power tools, computer peripherals, and audio equipment.
