Belarusian Team Wins Google Hash Code 2016
On March 19, Belarusian programmers Roman Udovichenko and Sergei Zhgirovsky won the final round of Google Hash Code 2016, which took place in Paris, France. Udovichenko and Zhgirovsky, both graduates of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of the Belarusian State University (BSU), participated as a team named YMTeam and scored 1,017,218 points. Their opponents, teams Ababahalamaha of Russia and Die Bergbokbende of South Africa, scored 991,562 and 964,632 points, respectively. Both Belarusian programmers work in the Minsk office of Yandex, a Russian Internet company
