Apotek Hjärtat’s CEO Anders Nyberg retires

Anders Nyberg, CEO of Apotek Hjärtat, has announced his decision to retire during the fall of 2021. ICA Gruppen has initiated the process offinding a successor. Anders Nyberg will continue as CEO of Apotek Hjärtat and member of the group management of ICA Gruppen until his successor is in place.

It is a journey that has included the development of a leading e-commerce, the acquisition of Min Doktor and to utilize the strength of being part of ICA Gruppen by running and establishing pharmacy’s in connection with larger ICA stores. Anders Nyberg has also been central in creating a strong culture that puts the customer at the centre, combining the best of the healthcare sector with the strengths of the retail trade", says Per Strömberg, CEO and President of ICA Gruppen.

Anders Nyberg has had a long career in ICA and has previously worked as area manager, head of business development, regional CEO, deputy CEO and member of group management. For the past twelve years he has been the CEO of Apotek Hjärtat. Today, Apotek Hjärtat is Sweden's largest pharmacy chain for consumers and has over 4,000 employees and just over 390 pharmacies spread across the country.
