    ICA Gruppen’s report for the last four months of the year (T3) shows that all Group companies posted a strong finish to the year.     Price investments reduce earnings for ICA

    ICA Gruppen’s report for May to August (T2) shows customer visits increasing, while continued investments in price adversely impacted earnings for ICA Sweden.     ICA Real Estate acquires Alecta Fastigheter’s shareholding in Ancore Fastigheter

    ICA Real Estate entered an agreement today to acquire Alecta Fastigheter’s 50 percent shareholding in the joint venture Ancore Fastigheter AB. The transaction encompasses a total of 32 properties with a lettable area of approximately 270,500 square metres.ICA Real Estate acquired Ancore Fastigheter with a total underlying property value of approximately SEK 8 billion.     ICA Gruppen is divesting Rimi Baltic, ICA Gruppen’s wholly-owned food retail operation in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania valued at EUR 1.3 billion (approx. SEK 14.4 billion[1)]) to Salling Group.     ICA Gruppen’s report for the fourth quarter of 2024

    2024 ended with the same good momentum that characterised the whole year. ICA continued to increase customer visits and strengthen market shares and posted a stable financial performance with lower debt.· Consolidated net sales increased 6.8% in the fourth quarter to SEK 40,879 million (38,273).  Operating profit excluding items affecting comparability and IFRS 16 was SEK 1,405 million (1,327), corresponding to an operating margin of 3.4% (3.5). · ICA Sweden performed well with increased volumes driven by a higher number of customer visits and increased market shares for the ICA stores.

    ICA Real Estate completes land exchange with the City of Stockholm

    On 12 June, ICA Real Estate completed a land exchange with the City of Stockholm where ICA Real Estate divests land for SEK 843 million and at the same time acquires land for SEK 371 million with a net cash flow effect of SEK 472 million.In 2013, ICA Real Estate signed a land allocation agreement and letter of intent on a reparceling with the City of Stockholm involving the divestment and acquisition of land in Årsta. The letter of intent means that ICA Real Estate acquires an additional parcel of land adjacent to Postgården 1 and divests land within Postgården 1 to the City of Stockholm.

    ICA Gruppen issues green bonds

    ICA Gruppen has successfully completed the second green bond issue of SEK 2 billion under the company’s Swedish MTN programme.The issue saw strong demand and the order book almost reached SEK 2.9 billion. The bonds of SEK 500 million and SEK 1.5 billion were issued with tenors of 3 and 5.5 years respectively, both tenors with floating rate tranches and the longer tenor also with a fixed rate tranche.
