Catharina Lagerstam is resigning all her directorships within the financial sector that are covered by the new rules on directorships and will therefore also resign from the Board of ICA Bank on 30 April.

“ICA Bank is a well-run business and I have extremely high confidence in its management team. The reason I am resigning from the Board is the new rules on personal responsibility for directors which come into force on 1 May and which, in my opinion, are unsuitable for Swedish conditions,” says Catharina Lagerstam.

“We truly regret Catharina’s decision but we are very grateful for her contributions as a member of the Board,” says Per Strömberg, CEO of ICA Gruppen and Chairman of the Board of ICA Bank.
