Swedish ICA stores – May 2016 sales figures
Sales in the Swedish ICA stores increased by 2.5% in May 2016 compared with the corresponding month last year. Sales in like-for-like stores increased by 2.2%.

In May 2016, sales in the Swedish ICA stores totalled SEK 9,457 million excluding VAT, which is an increase of 2.5% compared with the same month in the previous year. Sales in January-May 2016 amounted to SEK 44,746 million, an increase of 3.3% compared with the previous year.
ICA Gruppen estimates the calendar effect for May to be -0.2%.
At 31 May 2016, the number of ICA stores in Sweden was 1,300. Store sales for June will be published on 8 July 2016 at 08.45 CET.
