LADIES NEEDED FOR ANIMALTASTIC LEAP YEAR PROPOSALS!

Report this content

Blackpool Zoo is offering loved up ladies from Lancashire and beyond the chance to take advantage of the leap year and propose in style.

There will be four chances to pop the question throughout the 29th February and hopeful romantics can choose to either brave an audience of 250 animal lovers at the end of the zoo’s famous sea lion display or opt for the more private setting of the beautiful Lemur Wood.

To be in with a chance of being selected you should email Judith.rothwell@blackpoolzoo.org.uk and explain why Blackpool Zoo is the perfect location for a leap year proposal.

Jude Rothwell, PR and Marketing Co-ordinator at Blackpool Zoo, said: “We wanted to offer our visitors a unique way to pop the question to their loved one and as we are in a leap year we’ve extended the chance to ladies on the 29th.

“We have already had one proposal celebration this year after local man Simon Etheridge took the opportunity and asked his girlfriend to marry him at the end of the sea lion display on Valentine’s Day.

“After getting the answer he was hoping for he is now looking forward to moving into a new home with his bride to be Sharlene Davies.

“We wish them all the luck in the world and we are looking forward to toasting more happy couples very soon!”
