A survey of more than 10,000 contractors, installers and merchants has helped to shape KME Yorkshire Ltd’s new website for its Yorkshire Copper Tube brand.

www.yct.com has been developed in line with the company’s on-going commitment to customers and is packed with information and features that are relevant to all the different audiences.

Visitors can find all the latest news about KME Yorkshire and Yorkshire Copper Tube, including links to its Facebook page and Twitter profile, details of upcoming exhibitions the company will be present at and industry specific comments and features.

Full product information and a handy product finder can be found alongside a comprehensive suite of downloadable brochures.

Merchants can also get access to all the information they need on delivery, warranties and technical support as well as the names and contact details for the business managers that cover their area.

There is also a link to Tube Talk, Yorkshire’s digital newsletter and apprentices can sign up to receive a goody bag packed with useful Yorkshire branded merchandise.

Information about the world wide KME Academy, which is a seminar program for advanced training for the building industry, can also be found on the website.

In the coming weeks the company will be launching an online training module, which teaches people all about about the Yorkshire Copper Tube products, history and service offering.

Neil Overton, Commercial Director at KME Yorkshire Ltd, said: “Last year we carried out a survey to find out how we can be of more help to contractors, installers, merchants and apprentices and since then we have been continually developing new ways to engage with them all.

“The website is just one of the elements that was highlighted in the survey and it sits alongside our new Facebook page and Twitter profile, which also offer real time updates on everything related to Yorkshire Copper Tube.

“We have also increased our activity in the trade press to help keep everyone up to date with the latest developments here.

“In addition we are looking at focus groups, further surveys, increased exhibition presence and sponsorship of key events and initiatives as part of our long term plan to offer our valued customers everything they need.

“Of course, we welcome feedback on the website and see it as a continually evolving platform that meets the needs of all our customers.”

Operating from one of the most modern factories in the world, KME Yorkshire Ltd combines advanced manufacturing methods and sophisticated quality control techniques to ensure that only consistently high standard tubes are supplied to customers.
