The Mall Blackburn’s Security Manager has been named the best in the country. Ronnie O’Keefe was given the accolade at the annual national VSG Security and The Mall Reward and Recognition Programme awards ceremony, which is a joint venture between VSG Security and The Mall aimed at acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the staff. The Mall Blackburn  has scooped a prestigious national award for its marketing campaign for the launch of the completed £66m redevelopment in 2011. The security team at The Mall Blackburn are celebrating after picking up two gongs at the annual national VSG Security and The Mall Reward and Recognition Programme awards ceremony. Security Manager Ronnie O’Keefe and his 20 members of staff picked up the title of Team of the Year, whilst an initiative to train retailers on how to deal with shoplifters, devised by Deputy Security Manager Bernard Coupe, clinched the accolade of Best Idea.
