Aqmet increases its efficiency with IFS Applications 9
Aqmet, a precision mechanics manufacturer, implements IFS Applications 9 to streamline its key business processes
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Aqmet, a manufacturer of automatic transmitting-receiving devices, has implemented IFS Applications™ 9 to support its key processes, such as production, distribution, finances, and maintenance. The solution was sold and implemented by IFS’s partner InfoConsulting, a member of the IFS Partner Network.
Aqmet specializes in manufacturing metal lockers with a remote electronic access, such as airport lockers, laundry lockers, and automatic tool dispatchers. The company also manufactures molds for plastic packages, cabinet sandblasting machines, and pressure washers for cleaning metal elements. Aqmet also offers services to cut, bend and weld metal elements.
Prior to the implementation of IFS Applications 9, Aqmet used numerous standalone IT tools to support management, but the lack of consistent data coming from so many sources impeded the potential of management’s decision-making ability.
After the analysis of various ERP systems available on the market, Aqmet Sp. z o.o. Board chose IFS Applications 9, as it best met their functionality and agility- requirements. The implementation was performed by InfoConsulting, a Polish platinum level partner of the IFS Partner Network.
The implementation of IFS Applications 9 has centralized data within the company and now provides the management team with real-time access to information enabling them to make fast and informed business decisions. The solution from IFS supports finance, manufacturing, distribution, and maintenance management.
