Pakistan’s leading producer of high-quality transmission gears to implement IFS Applications to manage engineering, production planning, production, sales, supply chain and finance

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Millat Equipment Limited (MEL), a subsidiary of Millat Group of Pakistan, has signed a contract to implement IFS Applications™ 9 to increase efficiencies in engineering and production processes while improving inventory and sales planning.

IFS Applications will empower MEL to efficiently manage its production planning, which is a key factor of the business. The IFS solution will provide MEL with the ability to seamlessly integrate all aspects of the company’s production process with its back-end finance, administration, and HR processes. MEL will be integrating data and transactions with Millat Tractors Limited, its main customer.

“We are impressed with the capabilities of IFS Applications and its intuitive user interface will help our users to adapt and use the system very quickly. IFS Applications has been very effective for our parent company, which encouraged us to change the legacy home grown systems that we have been using for years,” said Millat Equipment Limited CEO, Mr Ahsan Imran Shaikh. "We look forward to a rapid implementation, which will be carried out by IFS partner Millat IFS Business unit, as well as a long and fruitful collaboration with IFS.”

Mr. Poorna, Country Director for IFS in Pakistan, added, ‘’It is with pleasure that we embark on this implementation project together with Millat Equipments Limited in Pakistan. We are confident that IFS’s technology will bring about great improvements in efficiency, as well as greater visibility and integrity throughout the company’s operations. IFS fully understands the business challenges associated with such a large-scale implementation and our team has extensive experience in working with clients in the automotive sector. With our expertise and best practices we look forward to delivering an outstanding solution that will meet the high standards of Millat Equipments Limited.”
