Bucher Emhart Glass supports global growth drive by empowering 800 staff with IFS Applications
The world market leader in glass container manufacturing and inspection technologies will deploy IFS's ERP solution at eight locations worldwide
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Bucher Emhart Glass, world market leader within glass forming and glass testing machines, with headquarters in the Swiss city of Steinhausen, has decided to implement IFS Applications™ to modernize its IT system landscape.
With IFS Applications, Bucher Emhart Glass will ensure a continuous flow of information for its international business processes and increase transparency across the entire company. In addition to the company's headquarters in Switzerland, the software will be used at Bucher Emhart Glass locations in Sweden, Malaysia, the USA, Italy, Germany, Singapore and Japan and will be available to more than 800 users.
Bucher Emhart Glass will use IFS Applications to implement a comprehensive, unified end-to-end solution that spans across all areas of the business. It will include components for product development, supply chain, production, projects, quality management, sales and service, maintenance, human resources, accounting and business intelligence. Buchert Emhart Glass will also implement the role-based user interfaces and mobile apps of IFS Applications.
With its modernization project, Bucher Emhart Glass is replacing their previous ERP software and ensures that the company is prepared for today's and future technological requirements.
