Crowe Horwath streamlines outsourcing of accounting services with IFS Applications
IFS Applications supports the accounting process for several hundred companies in Poland
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Crowe Horwath, specializing in the outsourcing of accounting services, has implemented IFS Applications™ to improve its service to customers with diversified businesses.
Crowe Horwath has four offices in Poland (in Warsaw, Wroclaw, Lodz and Cracow), two in the Czech Republic (Prague and Brno) and one in Bratislava, Slovakia. The company is a member of Crowe Horwath International, a global network of independent companies providing accounting, audit, as well as tax and business consultancy services. Crowe Horwath provides its services to more than 700 companies.
Prior to implementation of IFS Applications, Crowe Horwath used an ERP solution from a different supplier for 10 years. However, the legacy system lacked the flexibility to evolve with Crowe Horwath’s needs, so a decision was made to search for a more modern and future-proof ERP solution.
“We were looking for a flexible system that would give us the ability to provide outsourced accounting services for customers with various profiles and different needs. We also wanted the system to be economical and easy to maintain by our internal IT department. It was also important that the vendor had strong local presence and an office in Poland,” explained Agnieszka Frommholz, IT Director at Crowe Horwath Group in Poland, Czech and Slovakia.
IFS Applications is currently used to provide services to all Crowe Horwath customers in Poland who do not have their own accounting systems. Using IFS Applications, they provide their services to 220 companies.
“With IFS Applications we provide customers with advanced co-sourcing services, offering the option to share the system. This means that the customer is able to perform selected operations in IFS Applications on their side, such as warehouse management or sales operations, and we are able to provide them with accounting services on our side. The system is efficient, economical, and it gives us the flexibility needed to implement services in accordance with changing customer needs, which is very important,” said Marta Łyczewska, Partner at Crowe Horwath.
