Implementation of IFS Applications 9 at UTC CCS Manufacturing Polska has optimized and standardized key business processes
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces, that UTC CCS Manufacturing Polska, the leading manufacturer of firefighting equipment in Europe, has implemented IFS Applications™ 9 to further increase its efficiency and competitiveness.
UTC CCS Manufacturing Polska specializes in manufacturing of fire extinguishers and fire protection systems. The company produces over 2.5 million portable fire extinguishers per year, making it Europe's leading manufacturer of this sort of equipment. Since 2006, the company's management has been supported by IFS Applications, implemented as a technology transfer of the solution from the sister company in Germany. With development of the company and growing needs for business process management, a need to update the solution arose. Following a detailed functional analysis of the leading vendors’ solutions and proposed implementation methods, the company's management decided to implement the latest version of IFS Applications.
"The decision to choose IFS Applications was influenced by factors such as flexibility of the solution, short implementation time and the fact that it was very well suited to our needs. It was also important that we already had experience with IFS Applications," said Stanisław Medygrał, IT Manager at UTC CCS Manufacturing Polska. "With the implementation of IFS Applications 9, we increased the efficiency of operations in key areas of our business. The procurement and production planning as well as enterprise asset management processes have been improved."
IFS Applications supports manufacturing, distribution, finance and project management. Documentation and quality management functionalities as well as business analytics have also been implemented. IFS Applications is used by 180 employees at UTC CCS Manufacturing Polska.
