European aluminum producer Aludium to optimize efficiency with IFS Applications 9
Comprehensive ERP solution from IFS to be deployed at Aludium plants in Spain and France
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Aludium, a leading producer of aluminum products, has chosen IFS Applications™ 9 to integrate its business processes. The agreement includes licenses and services worth in excess of € 1 million.
Aludium, part of Atlas Holdings, is a new and dynamic player supplying aluminum sheets, shates, and coils through a network of state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facilities in Spain and France.
Recognizing the benefits of running a fully integrated ERP system, Aludium decided to scan the market for a single solution that could replace its portfolio of disparate business systems.
“Our objective was to find a flexible and comprehensive ERP system that would let us consolidate our workflows and thereby gain flexibility and efficiency,” Aludium COO Manuel Ruano said. “IFS presented the most compelling solution, both in terms of out-of-the-box support for our processes and the IFS team’s ability to deliver a rapid implementation.”
