Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA carries out complex projects using IFS Applications
Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA, Poland’s largest producer of industrial pumps, has implemented IFS Applications to support its project-based manufacturing processes, enable standardization of order fulfillment and streamlined assets management.
Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA has a broad product portfolio, including complex products made to order. The group also conducts comprehensive, turnkey pump infrastructure upgrade and development projects. In its two production plants, located in Warsaw and Zabrze, the company employs 600 persons, including 40 R&D engineers.
In December, 2009, Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA signed an agreement for the purchase and implementation of IFS Applications at both production plants. The implementation has led to an integrated IT environment, standardized order fulfillment, optimized enterprise resource inventory management and streamlined assets management. The ERP system supports project-based manufacturing processes, enables controlling features and secures continuous optimization of business processes within the company.

The following IFS Applications components have been implemented at Grupa Powen-Wafapomp SA: IFS Manufacturing, IFS Distribution, IFS Project Management, IFS Maintenance, IFS Financials, IFS Human Resources, and IFS Payroll. There are currently 200 IFS Applications users in the company.
