IFS Field Service Management helps Associa increase billable hours, standardize processes
Associa will leverage cloud-based IFS solution on Microsoft Azure to manage global growth
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Associa, a leading real estate management and maintenance firm, has improved oversight of the company’s service level agreements, standardized work order processes and increased billable hours through its use of IFS Field Service Management. Those improvements, along with a recent move to the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform, have better positioned the company for current and expected growth.
Associa provides management services for property associations of all types, including associations for single-family, mixed-use and master-planned developments, resorts, golf and commercial communities. Associa’s financial, organizational and maintenance services range from helping associations develop annual budgets to managing all of a community’s maintenance needs.
Associa began using IFS Field Service Management in April 2013 as part of an initiative to help the company manage its work order process and standardize its maintenance operations across its approximately 50 offices nationwide. Associa’s IFS solution was successful in helping the company optimize its field service processes in the first 12 sites chosen to implement the solution. The company is now rolling out IFS Field Service Management to the remainder of its offices, a process it expects to complete by March 2016.
“We’ve grown significantly over the years through acquisition, and we recently expanded internationally into Dubai and South Africa,” said Josh Warren, Associa’s assistant vice president for field service. “We’re still acquiring companies every year, but we’ve also put a lot of emphasis on organic growth. IFS Field Service Management has allowed us to improve our use of technology, build a better product for our users and standardize processes across all of our entities.”
“We’re also excited about utilizing the security and reliability of the Azure platform, so we can focus our own efforts on growing our business,” Warren said. “The combination of Microsoft Azure and IFS will put us in a much stronger position to grow both in the U.S. and globally.”
“IFS solutions are designed with the built-in agility necessary to grow along with a company’s needs,” said Patrick Zirnhelt, IFS North America vice president of enterprise service and asset management. “We’re pleased that Associa has realized such postitive results from implemementing IFS Field Service Management.”
