IFS provides the Ginger Group with an integrated ERP system
IFS solution will replace 20 legacy systems to harmonize mission-critical business processes across Ginger’s 28 subsidiaries and 2,000 staff
Paris, July 23, 2020 – IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that leading French engineering company Ginger Group has selected IFS Applications™ as its central enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Ginger has chosen to deploy IFS Applications™ ERP solution across all Group entities, to consolidate its business processes and increase efficiency. The solution will be implemented by Capgemini, a world leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology services and engineering, and a long-time IFS partner.
Operating throughout France and internationally, Ginger specialises in soil, water, building materials and environmental engineering. They also offer expertise to those involved in construction, planning, and sustainable development, through their numerous technical studies.
Faced with a disparity between the management methods and tools used by different entities, Ginger embarked on a phase of analysis and competitive dialogue with key market solutions including; Sage, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle and others. Following this consultation, Ginger chose IFS Applications to accelerate its digital transformation, based on IFS's native capabilities and flexibility, combined with Capgemini's industry knowledge as a solution integrator.
IFS’ solution will place business management at the core of Ginger Group's information system, by providing teams in the field with the data they need, reliably and instantaneously. The digitalization and standardization of the CRM, Finance, Purchasing and Time Management processes within IFS Applications will allow the management team to accurately monitor the company's activities and projects within the 28 subsidiaries of the Group
