Leading infrastructure wholesale company selects IFS Applications 9 to support future growth

ERP solution from IFS provides Melbye Skandinavia with a unified solution, creating a more effective and transparent supply chain

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, today announces that Melbye Skandinavia, a leading Scandinavian wholesale company of infrastructure solutions within Energy & Telecom, has selected IFS Applications™ 9 to increase efficiency and support future growth. Addovation, a member of the IFS Partner Network, has sold the solution and will implement it. The implementation will start in January 2018.

Following a thorough evaluation, Melbye Skandinavia selected Addovation to deliver and implement IFS Applications 9 to unify key processes within the company, creating a more effective and transparent supply chain and building a closer connection to its customers.

Addovation will replace Melbye Skandinavia's previous systems with IFS Applications 9, to support finance, supply chain, CRM and maintenance functions. Melbye Skandinavia will also benefit from several new features such as preconfigured role-based IFS Lobbies, IFS Streams for receiveing automated updates from the system, and embedded CRM, which connects the CRM capabilities seamlessly to the ERP system. This will improve sales and process effectiveness. In addition, an advanced Product Information Management (PIM) and web shop solution will be delivered to realize Melbye’s omni channel strategy. Melbye Skandinavia will deploy IFS Applications in the cloud on Microsoft Azure with Addovation providing a managed service.
