IFS ERP solution to empower Jackon staff at 13 sites in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark with robust functionality and mobile access

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Jackon Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of EPS (expandable polystyrene) and XPS (extruded polystyrene) products, has chosen to deploy IFS Applications™ 10 in the IFS Managed Cloud to support mission-critical processes such as manufacturing, supply chain management (SCM), sales and service, financial, and human resources (HR) across its Scandinavian organization.

Established in 1956, Jackon is based in Norway with employees at 21 sites across six countries. To support its rapid growth and ensure full process visibility, the company needed to replace its legacy systems with a modern, fully integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. Following a competitive bid process involving several major ERP vendors, Jackon chose IFS Applications 10.

The comprehensive solution from IFS will provide Jackon with detailed planning capabilities across its operations in addition to enhanced control of its manufacturing processes. Leveraging the intuitive, browser-based IFS Aurena interface, warehouse workers will be able to perform transactions in real time using handheld devices. By implementing an end-to-end solution that provides a seamless process from customer quotation and manufacturing to delivery and aftermarket, Jackon will also be able to offer a superior experience to its customers.

“We were looking for a future-proof solution that could offer broad functionality to support our current operations and our future growth,” said Jackon Group CEO Stein Trygsland. “We are very pleased to have IFS on board to help us streamline our business processes and achieve an even more effective manufacturing process across our international organization.”

Elni Kullmer, Head of IFS in Scandinavia, added, “We are very happy that Jackon has chosen to partner with IFS as the company continues to expand internationally. We look forward to working with Jackon to support its internal and external processes across the entire value chain and to further increase the overall efficiency of the company.”

IFS Applications 10 will initially be deployed across the company’s Scandinavian sites with Finland to follow. The implementation starts on December 1 and is scheduled to go live in October 2019.
