ERP solution from IFS to streamline Tuna Yapı’s project-oriented, engineer-to-order (ETO) production

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced that Tuna Yapı, Turkey’s leading provider of cladding solutions, has chosen IFS Applications™ to streamline its operations.

Istanbul-based Tuna Yapı has an annual production of some 150,000 m2 of various cladding materials, such as silicone, aluminum, sheet metal, iron, and composite materials.

The company needed a fully integrated and easy-to-use enterprise resource management (ERP) solution that could help them capture real-time construction site data to enable better business overview and decision-making.

Following a comprehensive evaluation project, spearheaded by management consultancy Grupas Gelişim TPM Akademi, Tuna Yapı chose IFS as its ERP partner because of its extensive experience in successfully delivering solutions to project-based and ETO businesses.

“IFS Applications was the optimal solution considering the business processes of Tuna Yapı. IFS’s references from other companies in the industry, its proven track record in the ETO production method as well as its expert consultancy staff also played a significant role in our recommendation,” Grupas co-founder, Erol Özden, said.

Gökhan Uncu, Tuna Yapı ERP Project Manager added, “We look forward to working with the IFS team to deliver a rapid and successful ERP project.”

IFS Applications will play an important part in supporting the company’s future growth by underpinning mission-critical processes such as production and construction site management, subcontractor management, finance and accounting, project and contract management, maintenance, budgeting, and quality and document management. The solution will be used by Tuna Yapı staff at three sites across Turkey.

IFS’s customers in the Turkish construction sector include: Sinpaş Yapı, Dap Yapı, Ofton İnşaat, İnanlar İnşaat, Özaltın and Makyol as well as Bisam and Erdoğanlar Alüminyum.
