Poland’s largest trade fair organizer upgrades and expands its use of IFS Applications
Poznań International Fair uses IFS Applications to manage mission-critical areas such as financials, projects, and maintenance
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Poznań International Fair (MTP), leader in the exhibition event industry in Poland, has improved its operational management by upgrading its IFS Applications™ environment.
MTP, founded in 1921, is one of the oldest exhibition events organizers in Europe. The company has over 50% share of the exhibition market in Poland. Its product portfolio consists of more than one hundred tradeshows organized annually or biannually.
MTP has used IFS Applications as its central ERP system since 2003 with the first upgrade taking place in 2007. The current upgrade, which was recently concluded, has served to provide additional IFS support of key business areas such as financials, project management, distribution, maintenance, human resources and payroll. IFS Applications is currently used by some 350 MTP employees.
"By upgrading our IFS solution, we have improved our operational management and budgeting processes. The system provides full control of costs and revenues and enables multiple profiles analyses,” MTP IT Director Krzysztof Ślatała said. “We can also get real-time insight into the costs and revenues in all departments, divided into projects, project groups, as well as individual elements of the infrastructure, which makes it easier to analyze profitability. With IFS Applications, we are guaranteed the flexibility, ease-of-use, and analytical completeness that we require."
