Polish food processing company Paula Fish increases efficiency with IFS Applications
ERP solution from IFS supports fish processing and logistics processes, helping to increase operational efficiency
IFS, the global enterprise applications company announces that “Paula Fish” Sławomir Gojdź Sp.J., a company specializing in fish processing, has implemented IFS Applications™ 9 with the support of InfoConsulting, part of the IFS Partner Network.
Initially established under the name Paula Trans in 1998, Paula Fish owns plants processing pelagic fish, salmon, flounder and cod, equipped with modern cold stores and freezing chambers. The company controls the full process of procurement, processing, storage, and sale of frozen foods and transport to the domestic European and Asian markets.
Due to its rapid growth, Paula Fish needed an integrated ERP system covering all essential business processes. After analyzing the solutions available on the market, the company's management decided to implement IFS Applications 9. Not only did the solution from IFS meet the company’s current requirements, but it also demonstrated flexibility to adapt and grow in line with Paula Fish’s future growth.
IFS Applications covered all processes in fish processing and storage as well as integration with the logistics and transport service systems. One of the main focuses was distribution and production processes and their financial mapping. IFS Applications offer comprehensive support of finance and controlling, input logistics together with advanced support of pallet management, production, output logistics, maintenance, and staffing. The solution was deployed in January 2018 on time and within budget.
“Having an accurate representation of our entire business, from cost and revenue centers to warehouse management, gives us access to information that supports our decision-making,” said Sławomir Gojdź, owner of “Paula Fish” Sławomir Gojdź Sp. J. “Thanks to IFS Applications, we have increased the operational efficiency of our enterprise. Thanks to the experience and expertise of InfoConsulting, the implementation project was carried out efficiently and professionally.”

We are confident that the flexible and scalable architecture of our solution will support all stages of Paula Fish's business development and that it will help the company sharpen its competitive edge.”
