REMA TIP TOP manages global service processes with IFS Service Management

The IFS solution will be provided as a managed service in the cloud to support REMA TIP TOP global operations

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that REMA TIP TOP AG, a global service provider of products and services in the field of conveying and treatment technology, surface protection as well as tire repair, has decided to implement IFS Service Management.

With IFS Service Management, REMA TIP TOP replaces previously customized software and creates a new strategic service platform for all business areas. Based on a standard implemention, the platform will enable REMA TIP TOP to map global service processes consistently. The solution will be provided in the IFS Managed Cloud on Microsoft Azure, a full-service, managed single-tenant cloud offering.

Service is most important for REMA TIP TOP – more than one third of all employees are part of the company’s global service team. In addition to a broad product portfolio, the company offers comprehensive services in all three of its business areas. A perfect maintenance condition guarentees REMA TIP TOP customers operational capability also during rough practical operation. For this, service engineers from REMA TIP TOP inspect facilities regularly, deliver clear maintenance recommendations, execute those, and ensure that everything keeps moving on-site at the customer.
