Steel processor Arania Group to unify business processes with IFS
Spanish steel processing company will implement IFS Applications 9 to fuel global expansion and growth
IFS, the global business applications company, announces that Arania Group has selected IFS Applications™ 9, to optimize key business areas such as project management, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, production planning, finance and quality assurance. The solution will also streamline Arania’s internal collaboration and enhance the management of its customer supplier relationships.
Arania Group is a conglomerate consisting of four companies (Arania, Aratubo, AR Shelving and AR Racking) and processes more than 300,000 tons of steel per year across six production plants.
Running a number of disparate business systems in each of its units, the group needed to deploy one unified solution that could support all its requirements. Following a comprehensive evaluation process, which involved offers from vendors such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Abas, Arania selected IFS Applications 9 thanks to its comprehensive functionality.
Deploying IFS Applications in the cloud will give Arania Group a single management system for all subsidiaries, helping the business realize a rapid return on its investment through more efficient project management and maintenance. IFS Applications 9 will also provide all Arania Group employees with an intuitive user experience for increased productivity as well as a flexible platform that is easy and cost-effective to upgrade and scale.
