Swedish fashion chain Gina Tricot selects IFS Applications 9 to drive business efficiency
Gina Tricot to roll out IFS Applications 9 including assortment planning, sourcing and replenishment to some 200 stores in five countries
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that leading Swedish fashion chain Gina Tricot has chosen to upgrade to IFS Applications™ 9 and extend its solution with built-in functionality to support assortment planning, allocation and replenishment.
Gina Tricot is a Swedish fashion chain that consists of some 200 stores across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany, along with eCommerce presence in 30 countries.
The company decided to deploy IFS Applications 9 to benefit from a modern platform that can enable business development and process efficiency. By leveraging the layered application architecture and best-practice capabilities of IFS Applications 9, Gina Tricot will be able to significantly reduce the total cost of ownership.
In addition to upgrading to IFS Applications 9, Gina Tricot will extend its solution with built-in functionality to support assortment planning, allocation and replenishment, which is designed to help retailers respond to rapidly changing consumer behavior and demands.
“By implementing IFS Applications 9, we are able to eliminate a number of customizations in favor of best-practice out-of-the-box functionality, thereby providing a solid foundation for a unified way of working across the organization,” Gina Tricot CEO, Per-Johan Swartling, said. “We are also looking forward to leveraging the latest version’s flexible architecture and the usability enhancements offered by the IFS Lobbies.”
Glenn Arnesen, CEO of IFS in Scandinavia, said, “Retail is an important industry for IFS so we are very pleased to be able to continue our partnership with Gina Tricot, which is a highly visible and well-respected brand in the sector. Since its launch, IFS Applications 9 has been very well received among our customer base and we are convinced that its flexible architecture and robust industry functionality will help Gina Tricot improve process efficiency and reduce cost.”
