IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Aura Light, a leading provider of lighting solutions, has decided to implement IFS Applications™ 8 throughout its international organization. The IFS solution will be implemented in 11 countries and will support core business processes such as manufacturing, supply chain management, supplier relationship management (SRM), and business intelligence (BI).

Aura Light, with headquarters in Stockholm and subsidiaries in China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and the UK, manufactures and distributes sustainable lighting solutions such as LED, fluorescent tubes and other light sources, as well as luminaires and lighting controls. To better support its business processes and future growth, the company decided to replace its existing business solution.

“We chose IFS Applications because it offered the best combination of comprehensive process support and flexibility, all part of the standard industry solution,” Aura Light International CFO Anders Svensson said. “Another deciding factor was the experience and skill of the IFS consultants coupled with IFS’s global delivery capabilities, which we believe will minimize the time to value throughout our international network of subsidiaries and distributors.“

“We are pleased to announce that Aura Light has chosen to implement IFS Applications 8,” IFS Scandinavia CEO Glenn Arnesen said. “Thanks to our long experience supporting leading manufacturers all over the world, we can offer a blend of solutions and expertise that is unique in the market. Aura Light is a dynamic company with an exciting product portfolio and we look forward to helping them reach their business goals.”
