Swedish retailer Rusta goes live with IFS Applications
IFS solution deployed in 81 stores, warehouses, and offices in Sweden, Norway, China, India, and Thailand.
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Rusta AB, a leading Swedish retailer of home and leisure products, has gone live with IFS Applications™ for Retail across its international organization.
As announced in December, 2013, Rusta chose to implement IFS Applications to support its future growth and international expansion. The solution went live in late September, 2014 and all 81 stores in Sweden and Norway were running IFS Applications by early November, a mere eleven months after the project started.
In addition to its Scandinavian stores and warehouses, Rusta also operates a number of offices and logistics hubs in China, India, and Thailand – employing about 1,300 members of staff in total. Thanks to IFS Applications, Rusta has been able to streamline its complex value chain and eliminate a number of best-of-breed solutions and manual Excel-based processes.
