Swiss polymer metering and mixing specialist DOPAG Group selects IFS Applications
IFS chosen to support core business processes and enhance business transparency
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that DOPAG, part of the Hilger u. Kern Group and a leading manufacturer of metering and mixing systems for single and multi-component polymers, has selected IFS Applications™ to modernize and streamline its operations. The order is valued in excess of € 1.2 million.
Following several years of successful growth, Swiss-based DOPAG realized that its legacy ERP solution was not able to keep up with its current business needs, and despite heavy customization, was performing poorly. DOPAG wanted a solution with strong project management functionality that would not only meet current business needs, but would be agile enough to adapt to change in the future. After assessing a number of ERP vendors, DOPAG selected IFS Applications.
The company will implement IFS to support core business processes that include: financials, HR, project management (including project reporting), manufacturing (including shop floor reporting and IFS Manufacturing Visualizer) maintenance, supply chain (including warehouse data collection), sales and support, business analytics, quality management and assurance, CRM (including sales configurator functionality), document management, and service management.
