The largest domestic producer of rolled aluminum products – Impexmetal – deploys IFS Applications to enhance operations
One of Poland’s largest capital groups implements comprehensive IFS solution in its Aluminium Konin plant
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Impexmetal S.A. operating in the non-ferrous metals industry, has implemented IFS Applications™ to adapt IT tools to the changing processes in the company.
Doing business on all continents through a network of some 270 trade partners, Impexmetal’s products are used mainly in automotive, packaging, engineering and construction industries.
Impexmetal needed an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform that could provide transparency of its business processes and enable management to make fast and correct decisions. After a detailed analysis of the solutions available on the market, the company decided to implement IFS Applications. One of the most important considerations was the solution’s flexible and easily scalable architecture, which could support the company’s future growth.
Following a rapid and successful implementation project, IFS Applications is empowering Impexmetal users with an effective tool for accurate accounting and forecasting, purchase and sales of metals, production reporting, as well as maintaining optimal stock levels. The IFS solution has also improved the company’s internal and external communication, in large part thanks to the implementation of electronic document management.
The implementation of IFS Applications covered the key areas of Impexmetal’s operations, including finance, distribution and warehousing, production, HR, and payroll.
