WeChat-based mobile interface for IFS Applications launched by CAMC Engineering
CAMC Engineering provides employees with access to key business information in IFS Applications using the popular WeChat mobile platform
IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that in partnership with China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE), a global engineering contractor, that a WeChat-based interface to IFS Applications™ has been created to provide users with a convenient and mobile friendly way to access information within its ERP system.
CAMCE has experienced rapid growth and saw an increased need to deliver their enterprise software - IFS Applications – through WeChat’s platform so employees can work in real-time, anywhere, in a flexible and convenient manner. It will allow employees to pursue timely projects, better contract management and increase process approvals. WeChat, also called Weixin in China, is one of the most popular mobile messaging platforms in the world with over 700m users, and supports different mobile systems such as IOS and Android. The IFS project team in China developed a customized interface for IFS Applications based on the WeChat platform to enable CAMCE employees to access IFS Applications functionality with the same security level and user experience, thereby enhancing mobile access for employees globally.
