7bet Makes UK Debut
The UK gambling market has welcomed yet another operator thanks to the launch of 7Bet. This is the brand’s first expansion outside of its hometown of Lithuania. 7Bet, which now boasts a UKGC licence, will offer a full sports betting and casino product in its first foray into a local market.
While new territory for 7Bet, the brand’s operator, Anakatech Interactive Ltd, has been operating brands in the UK since 2017, also being the business behind Lucky Mate and Winomania.
Records show that both 7bet.co.uk and betnero.co.uk operate under the same betting licence and both hold White Label Status.
While 7Bet’s UK venture is very much in its infancy, the brand has made some bold moves to market its product. It appears that 7Bet is placing a significant focus on affiliate engagement, with leading portals already listing the brand. Players can find 7Bet at betting,bet, OLBG, Casino Guru, bettingsites.co.uk, amongst many other established affiliate websites.
This move for 7Bet was likely influenced by the challenging conditions of the Lithuanian market, with lawmakers having increased taxes for gambling operators in recent years.
Announcing its UK launch on LinkedIn, the business is confident that the UK will help take the 7Bet brand to the next level. However, entering Europe’s most dynamic iGaming and betting ecosystem was not a decision that came lightly.
