Esportes da Sorte Expands Nationwide Presence Through Sponsorship of São João Festivals in 12 Brazilian Cities
The brand, part of the Esportes Gaming Brasil Group, is strengthening its cultural engagement strategy and regional footprint through sponsorship of some of Brazil’s most significant São João celebrations in 2026.
Esportes da Sorte will serve as an official sponsor of São João festivities in 12 cities across Brazil, further expanding its connection with local communities through major cultural events. The initiative reinforces the company's presence in the Northeast — a region where June festivals play a central role in cultural identity — while also extending activities to other key markets.
This year's sponsorship program includes events in Recife (PE), Maracanaú (CE), Patos, Santa Luzia and Sousa (PB), Salvador (BA), Natal, Caicó and Mossoró (RN), Santana do Ipanema and Maceió (AL), as well as Belo Horizonte (MG).
The initiative aligns with the broader positioning of the Esportes Gaming Brasil Group, owner of the Esportes da Sorte brand, as a supporter of Brazilian culture and regional development. The company said each activation has been tailored to the characteristics and traditions of the host city.
Planned activities include official sponsorship visibility, branded hospitality areas, interactive experiences, promotional merchandise distribution, fan engagement initiatives and entertainment-focused activations designed to enhance the festival experience for attendees.
The sponsorship continues a strategy the company has pursued at major cultural events throughout Brazil. In 2025, the group supported São João celebrations in 27 cities across the Northeast and Southeast. Earlier this year, during Carnival 2026, Esportes da Sorte sponsored festivities in seven state capitals — Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Natal and Maceió — as well as celebrations in Olinda and Caicó.
“Supporting Brazilian popular celebrations and social impact initiatives is part of our mission and goes beyond one-off actions,” said Marcela Campos, Vice President of Esportes Gaming Brasil Group. “Our presence at São João reflects an ongoing commitment to promoting culture, strengthening local economies and supporting initiatives that help preserve the identity of each region.”
The company views its participation in the festivals as both a cultural investment and a way to deepen engagement with communities through events that play a significant role in Brazil’s social and economic landscape.
