Established UK sportsbook, Interbet, has announced the introduction of horse racing and greyhound racing betting to its popular betting site. Built on the ProgressPlay platform, the bookmaker, which launched in 2018, will now offer a "full circle betting service", allowing it to compete with some of the more prominent brands in the UK gambling space.

"We are delighted to announce that we will be adding horse racing and greyhound betting markets to Interbet Sportsbook, building out our product to serve all types of bettors and casino enthusiasts. With horse racing being the most followed sport after football, this is a real milestone for our company, and we look forward to opening up Interbet to the ever-growing community of racing bettors here in the UK" comments the business' spokesperson.

The addition of horse racing to Interbet's platform broadens its appeal as the company expands its industry footprint. But, according to Interbet, this has been in the pipeline for some time.

Our ethos as a business is around choice. We always want our players to be able to navigate our services to find an option that suits their gambling style, budget and risk appetite. Launching new markets further extends this ethos. Racing betting is something our customers have asked for. We are now happy to be able to offer them a complete suite of both core and niche markets".

In order to bring this new racebook to market with a bang, Intrebet is planning a large cross-channel marketing campaign, comprising various new and existing player promotions. This will be in addition to various strategic partnerships in the horse racing and greyhound racing industries.

"We are celebrating the launch of this new betting division with a series of generous offers. These will be available to both new customers and existing account holders. Our commercial team have also been working on a number of racing sponsorship for 2024 at courses across the UK. We look forward to sharing more details in the coming months" the Spokesperson concludes
