Poll Reveals 70% of Brazilian Bettors Are Seeking Bonuses

As the number of sportsbooks operating in Brazil increases and more players explore online betting services, a demand for betting promotions has been identified. 

Betting.bet, a global betting aggregator, ran a poll asking Brazilian punters what they looked for when comparing online betting sites in Brazil.

According to the results, more than 70% of respondents would not register with a sports betting site that was not offering a new player bonus on registration.

Leslie Ward of betting.bet comments on the findings from the business' most recent poll:

"We are seeing many Brazilian betting sites start to hike up their promotional offerings in an attempt to outshine competitors. This has led to more sportsbooks offering more generous offers, which is great news for bettors!" she comments.

According to results from the poll, no-deposit betting bonuses matched deposit bonuses and accumulator betting offers were the most in-demand amongst Brazilian bettors.

Other Findings

As well as identifying a demand for free bets and bonuses, the poll threw up some other surprising player statistics.

• 84% of Brazilian gamblers place bets on mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets.
• 60% of bettors prefer betting via a mobile application.
• 54% want to see prominent safe gambling messages when on betting sites.
