InCoax Networks AB enters into a Letter of Intent with a leading broadband integrator/distributor.

As a first step, InCoax and the broadband integrator have together with a leading operator carried out a successful proof of concept (lab trials at the operator). Currently the next phase as outlined in the agreement, with operator field trials is being scheduled in detail, with the plan to conduct field test installations at the operator in January 2019. If the field tests are successful, the intention is that the customer will purchase InCoax’s In:xtnd solution for the distributor’s roll-out to this operator. The potential scope of this roll-out is 100,000 - 200,000 apartments.

The Letter of Intent also stipulates that the parties are conducting negotiations with the objective to enter into an agreement where the system integrator will be the exclusive distributor for InCoax in that country. The distributor will sell InCoax’s In:xtnd™ solution, offering up to 4 x 2.5 gigabit per second symmetrical bandwidth based on MoCA Access™ 2.5.

InCoax estimates that there is potential for more roll-outs in this country, as the market has more than 2 million households.

“We are delighted to enter into this Letter of Intent as a first step to form a partnership. We are impressed by their competence and look forward to a fruitful business cooperation together with them and their operator customers in their market”, says Peter Carlsson, CEO of InCoax.

The broadband integrator and its operator customer have requested that InCoax does not reveal names or country, due to competitive reasons in their market. InCoax has agreed not to disclose the company names and name of the country.
